Joey Hughes, son of Taneisha Hughes has been a track and field star athlete at the University of Southern California since 2009 when he won a gold medal at the Pan Am Junior games as part of the USA winning 4 x 400 relay team. In 2010 and 2011 Joey earned All-America honors in the 400 meter race. In 2010 he won the US a silver medal in the 400 at the NACAC championships. Joey is one of the top runners in the country and now sets his sights on the 2012 Olympic Trials in July. With too many accomplishments to highlight it is safe to say his mother Taneisha Hughes is beyond proud. And we share her excitement for her son's achievements. Clearly, Joey gets his drive and incredible work ethic from his mother, who was the first intern ever hired at our company.
Taneisha set high standards for her son by being an example of setting goals and making them happen. She raises the bar in her own career; it is no surprise that her son would do the same. Congratulations, Taneisha and best of luck to Joey, your Global Holdings family is cheering for you!
